Do I look Chinese? Hells YES

Hmm... well,.... uhh....
How do I answer that question.
Yes is the only honest answer I can give. Perhaps I shouldn't give it and lie.

Yes the average Jo (not me) might lump all people that are similar together, but guess what even Japanese can't tell Chinese apart from them in many cases. That's an arrow in the bullseye in my books.

I mean apart from the hair, skin, eye colour, what else is similar!? Hmm..

The similarities to China are beyond skin deep, look at the culture, language, food, cultural stories. Hell even Dragon Ball Z (famous manga and anime) is based on a Chinese story. If you are Japanese and just read this don't send me hate mail, its true look it up. (on a side note I heard an Aussie say love mail the other day I was like what the heck does that mean, it must mean hate mail. Those funny Aussies).

I noticed a lot of Japanese people became quite offended when I mentioned that. I think mentioning it (even though true) is taboo.
Sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut but I've never learned my lesson (I might get some love mail now).

Harry you are like me only smarter and you have magic to protect you.

I had a lot of things told to me by Japanese people that such and such was unique to Japan.
I remember telling a Chinese friend one time how unique culturally Kyoto was and its buildings. He said did you know we already have Buddhism, the same architecture and that Kyoto is based on a Chinese city layout. "Ah sh%t OK", I said.

I always found many people in Japan very agitated when I brought up something about China that was in the Japanese culture. When I told them I already heard this story about such and such they wondered how I could know. Its origin is China I would respond.

I think a lot of people thought they could pull the wool over this gaijin barbarian's eyes.
In my case I had spent four years of life at University studying the differences and similarities between the two. I was no average Jo like I mentioned above. I only spent four years of my life to find out that I couldn't use those skills in a related field, however I did find out its useful to use to write a blog to pretend I'm smart. You might say I'm a little deeper (like past the epidermis (first layer of skin) then you think. I also pretend I'm a doctor on another blog and give advice on brain surgery.
LOL ;-)

What I really wanted to do with my four year of University skills.

I did learn a little more about what I studied. I did think that a lot of things from China had a Japanese twist on them (sorta like the neck on the little girl in poltergeist. Like totally turned). So I shouldn't leave you with an impression that Japan is China, its not, its just got a lot of similarities. The Aussies may be to us but what the Japanese are to us, similar but opposites and twist things. Seriously "love mail" I like that expression, no one is gonna get it though, someone might think I'm having an affair (although if you do what to have an affair send me a real love mail.) LOL.

If you found anything amusing on this blog hit me with a GOOGLE PLUS +1 unless they stopped it already.
Feel free to send me love mail (real love mail not hate).

Checkout my crappy youtube channel with has random clips or randomness and make no sense (just like my blog).
